Apache Doris

An open-source, MPP real-time analytics and search database that runs fast SQL queries, accelerates queries over lakehouse table formats, and combines structured, text and vector search in one SQL engine.

Apache Doris

Apache Doris is an open-source, real-time analytics and search database built on an MPP architecture, providing fast SQL analytics, query acceleration over lakehouse table formats, and hybrid search across structured, text and vector data.

Its core capabilities are real-time analytics with streaming ingestion and sub-second queries under high concurrency, lakehouse analytics with fast SQL over open table formats such as Iceberg, Delta Lake and Hudi, and hybrid search that combines JSON, full-text and vector data in one SQL engine for AI and search workloads. Use cases include customer-facing analytics, a unified real-time data warehouse across business domains, and observability over high-throughput logs, events and metrics.

It supports both compute-storage coupled deployments and a decoupled mode where stateless compute groups run over shared object storage, letting compute scale independently of storage. It is written in Java and released under the Apache 2.0 license.

A SQL-first data-access toolkit for TypeScript that keeps ordinary SQL visible in tagged template literals, binds interpolated values safely by default, supports readable conditional SQL directives, and lets a schema validate the returned rows.

  • A SQL-style query language and toolchain for the Qdrant vector database, covering dense, sparse and hybrid search, filtering and multitenancy, with the same grammar running from a CLI, Python, Node.js, Rust, WebAssembly and an in-process edge engine.
