Arcade MCP

Arcade MCP is an open-source Python framework for building MCP servers and tools, with a decorator letting a tool declare the OAuth scopes it needs so Arcade handles authorization and token refresh without exposing the token to the client or model.

Arcade MCP

Arcade MCP is an open-source Python framework for building Model Context Protocol servers and the tools that run inside them, covering the full MCP specification: tools, resources, prompts, sampling, elicitation, progress and logging. It is the same framework behind more than 7,500 prebuilt tools across 81 MCP servers on the Arcade.dev platform, and is meant for building custom MCP tools such as internal APIs, custom OAuth providers or domain-specific integrations.

A tool can declare the OAuth scopes or API keys it needs, and Arcade prompts the end user to authorize, stores and refreshes tokens, and scopes them per call, injecting the secret into the tool call at runtime so the client and the language model never see it. It works with any MCP client, model or agent framework, ships helper classes for providers such as GitHub, Google, Discord and Dropbox, and includes an evals command for testing tool-call accuracy and a deploy command for one-command hosting on Arcade Cloud.
