Argo CD MCP Server

Argo CD MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that lets an AI assistant manage Argo CD clusters, projects and applications through natural language, including creating, syncing and deleting applications and reading their resources, logs and events.

Argo CD MCP Server

This MCP server exposes Argo CD's API as tools an AI assistant can call, supporting both stdio and HTTP stream transport so it can integrate with Visual Studio Code and other MCP clients. It provides cluster management tools for listing registered clusters, project management tools for reading an AppProject's details, and application management tools to list, filter, get, create, update, delete and sync applications.

Resource-level tools retrieve an application's resource tree and managed resources, workload logs for pods and deployments, resource events, and the actions available on a resource, and can run a chosen action against it. It is configured with an Argo CD base URL and API token, for example in a Cursor or VS Code MCP configuration file.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the Apache license.
