AskMyDocs

A self-hostable AI hub for enterprise knowledge that combines hybrid retrieval-augmented generation, a typed knowledge graph and agentic tool use behind a Laravel platform, positioned as an on-premises alternative to hosted knowledge assistants.

AskMyDocs

AskMyDocs ingests markdown, text, PDF and DOCX documents, plus scanned pages and images through OCR, into a typed canonical knowledge graph with human-gated promotion. It answers questions with streaming retrieval-augmented generation that fuses vector similarity search, full-text search and a reranker, and exposes the same knowledge as MCP tools for agentic clients such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor.

It ships a React admin single-page application with a KPI dashboard, a knowledge-base explorer with an inline editor and graph viewer, a log viewer, a whitelisted Artisan command runner, and a self-compiling wiki admin panel, all behind role-based access control with audit trails on destructive actions.

The backend is Laravel with PostgreSQL and pgvector, and the chat surface is built on the Vercel AI SDK. It is MIT licensed.
