AssetGenie is a local Model Context Protocol server, written in pure Dart, for auditing and automating a Flutter project's assets and localization structure. Connected to an AI client such as Cursor or Claude Desktop, it lets the assistant inspect and modify a project's asset and translation files directly.
Its tools scan the project manifest and asset folders for missing, undeclared or oversized files; safely inject or reformat translation keys in ARB localization files; generate Dart constants from asset paths to avoid hardcoded strings; check ARB files for missing or mismatched keys across locales; and connect to a running Flutter app's Dart VM Service to inspect its widget tree, take a screenshot, or stream logs. It is MIT licensed.
