ATLAS

A local coding agent that adds planning, candidate generation, sandboxed verification and repair around compact open models, so smaller models running on a developer's own hardware can handle real software tasks without a hosted API.

ATLAS

ATLAS is a local coding agent built to get more capable results from smaller, locally run models by adding structure around them rather than depending on a single generation from the model. It plans a task, generates and scores candidate solutions, tests them in an isolated sandbox, and repairs failures, spending more compute on harder tasks and less on straightforward edits.

It runs a compatible GGUF model on NVIDIA, AMD, Apple Silicon, Vulkan or CPU-only hardware, and does not intentionally upload a repository or prompts to a hosted service; sandboxed commands have outbound network access by default, which can be disabled. It requires no hosted model or third-party API key, authenticating instead with a local per-installation service token.

It is open source and self-hosted, with a terminal UI for running its pipeline.

    github.com

A native macOS app that shows Claude Code runs as a city, with each project as a building, each team as a floor of robots, and every animation driven by a real event from the claude CLI's stream.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
