AtlasRepo Open Source Catalog
A living, auto-curated, machine-readable catalog of over 37,000 open-source projects with practical summaries, categories and transparent quality scoring, meant to give coding agents grounded starting points before a deeper technical, security and license review.
AtlasRepo Open Source Catalog turns a fast-moving open-source ecosystem into a browsable and machine-readable decision layer, so a developer or a coding agent can discover candidate projects, compare their practical fit, and get a grounded starting point before deeper technical, security and license review. It is continuously refreshed by an automated process the project calls AtlasRepo Scout.
As of the material read, it indexes 37,279 projects across 231 categories such as AI and machine learning, MCP, orchestration, developer tools, automation, backend, frontend, documents, networking and knowledge or RAG tooling, each entry carrying repository signals, multilingual summaries and a practical evaluation.
The catalog is browsable on its own site, and is also published as a hosted MCP server, an npm package, and a set of skills, so its data can be queried directly from an agent rather than only read as a webpage.
