Awesome AI Anatomy

A collection of source code teardowns of 15 AI coding agent projects, such as Claude Code, Dify, OpenHands, Cline and Goose, documenting their architecture, design patterns and engineering decisions that are not covered in official documentation.

Awesome AI Anatomy

Awesome AI Anatomy dissects the source code of AI coding agents one project at a time, producing architecture diagrams and design-pattern writeups for things the authors say are not documented anywhere else, such as how a particular agent manages its context window, why it chose a given language or sandboxing approach, or bugs found by reading the actual implementation rather than the README. Each teardown states that its claims are fact-checked against the code.

The project has since produced a related tool, AgentSentinel, described as a zero-trust local proxy that monitors, secures and records the decisions an AI agent makes, built from security findings surfaced across the teardowns. New teardowns are published on a weekly schedule, with an optional email list and social account for updates.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
