awesome-ai-prompts
A curated, tool-agnostic collection of copy-paste prompts for student developers using AI coding agents, built around disciplined workflows that require the agent to read code, take small confirmed steps, and verify its work with tests.
awesome-ai-prompts collects prompts meant to be pasted directly into an AI coding agent such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor or opencode, structured as senior-engineer workflows rather than one-off tricks: read the existing code before editing it, take small confirmed steps, and use tests as a guardrail against unverified changes. Prompts come in two formats, focused one-pagers for quick tasks and longer "spec" prompts with hard constraints and required verification for larger or riskier work, marked with a badge in the index.
Contributors who submit a merged prompt pull request are automatically added to a contributors file, and the project changelog records each addition as it ships in a tagged release.
It is written mainly in HTML and released under the MIT license.
