Awesome Generative AI is a curated list of modern generative artificial intelligence projects and services, the technology behind image, sound and text generation systems that produce original, previously unseen output using models trained on large amounts of data. Entries are organized into sections for recommended background reading, text, coding, agents, image, video, audio and other applications, along with learning resources and links to further, related lists.
The recommended-reading section links articles and essays that trace the field's recent history, from the announcement of the OpenAI API and GitHub Copilot through mainstream press coverage of tools such as Stable Diffusion and ChatGPT. A separate discoveries list showcases newer, up-and-coming generative AI projects that have not yet been folded into the main list.
Contributions are accepted through pull requests or issues, under contribution guidelines that describe what an entry needs to meet before it is added.
