Awesome MCP DevTools

A curated list of developer tools, SDKs, libraries, testing utilities, proxies, hosting options and templates for building Model Context Protocol servers, organized by programming language and purpose.

Awesome MCP DevTools

The list covers SDKs for building MCP servers in JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, Rust, Kotlin, C# and .NET, Scala, Dart, Ruby, Elixir, C and C++, Swift, Bash and Common Lisp, marking which entries are official MCP resources and which language each codebase uses. It also lists frameworks, testing tools including authorization testing, general libraries, utilities, proxies and gateways, development tools, hosting options and starter templates.

SDKs are ranked by GitHub popularity, and an SDK that lives inside a monorepo is named as owner/repo#project-name and counted at the bottom of that ranking. A companion resources section lists tutorials and links to related awesome lists, and a Discord server and a subreddit serve as community spaces.
