A curated list of Model Context Protocol servers that give AI models access to local and remote tools and data, organized by category such as databases, file systems, browser automation and coding agents.

Awesome MCP Servers

Awesome MCP Servers is a curated list of Model Context Protocol servers: implementations that let AI models securely connect to local and remote resources such as files, databases and APIs. The list covers servers with a GitHub repository that a developer installs and runs themselves, and separately links to directories of remote, hosted servers and MCP clients.

Entries are organized into categories including aggregators, cloud platforms, coding agents, databases, browser automation, security and version control, and each is marked with icons for its programming language, whether it runs locally or against a cloud service, embedded systems support, and target operating system. The list also links to MCP tutorials and quickstarts and to community spaces such as a Discord server and a subreddit.

It is MIT licensed.
