Awesome MCP Servers

A curated list of Model Context Protocol clients, server implementations and frameworks, organized by category such as file systems, databases, communication and developer tools.

Awesome MCP Servers

This repository is a curated list of Model Context Protocol servers and related projects. It explains what MCP is, an open protocol that lets AI models securely interact with local and remote resources through standardized servers, and lists clients that support it, tutorials for building a server, and server implementations grouped by category, including file systems, databases, web search, version control, communication, developer tools, monitoring and knowledge or memory systems.

Each entry is marked with symbols for its implementation language, whether it runs locally or in the cloud, its platform compatibility, and whether it is an official reference implementation from the Model Context Protocol team.
