awesome-mcp-servers

A curated list of Model Context Protocol servers, split between reference implementations that demonstrate the MCP SDKs and production-ready servers maintained by platform providers for real services.

awesome-mcp-servers

This list groups MCP servers by purpose. Reference servers demonstrate MCP features and the TypeScript and Python MCP SDKs, covering tasks such as fetching and converting web content, secure filesystem operations with customizable access controls, reading and manipulating Git repositories, a persistent knowledge-graph memory system, structured multi-step reasoning, and time-zone conversion.

Production-ready servers are maintained by the platform providers themselves and connect an AI client to a specific external service, such as generating UI components, extracting data from websites through a large catalog of pre-built cloud tools, managing payments and invoicing, structured web data extraction, connecting to functions across language and network boundaries, and managing cloud database and analytics services from providers including Aiven, Alation, Algolia and Alibaba Cloud.

The list itself carries no license information beyond what GitHub records for the repository.
