BankMCP

A self-hosted, read-only MCP server that lets an AI assistant answer questions about your own bank accounts by connecting through the Enable Banking open-banking provider, without storing balances or transactions itself.

BankMCP

BankMCP is a small open-source server you run yourself that exposes your bank accounts to any MCP client, such as Claude or ChatGPT, as a connector. It connects through Enable Banking, a licensed PSD2 provider that wraps over 2,700 European banks in one API, so the server never sees your bank credentials and does not store balances or transaction data itself.

It supports questions such as whether an invoice has been paid, spending in a given month, which subscriptions are active and their yearly cost, or a low-balance alert. It runs on a user's own machine for desktop MCP clients like Claude Code or Cursor, or on a small server for use from claude.ai or a phone, and requires a free Enable Banking account.
