BossConsole

BossConsole is a native desktop console for running AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or OpenCode, giving them a shared browser, terminal, editor and secrets manager, and exposing the console itself as MCP tools the agent can call.

BossConsole

BossConsole is a multi-platform, multi-threaded desktop console for operating AI coding agents. It runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini or OpenCode inside one workspace with an embedded browser, a shareable terminal, a code editor, a secrets manager and permission controls over what each agent can touch.

The same MCP layer an agent uses to do its work also exposes the console's own tabs, terminals, browser, editor, git status and automation as MCP tools, so an agent can inspect and act on the running app itself rather than only the code. It bundles an embedded browser component that agents can navigate and script, with credentials filled from its own secrets manager rather than exposed to the model.

It is built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, runs on the JVM rather than Electron, and supports hot reload while the app is running.
