Botpress

A platform and toolkit for building and deploying chatbots and assistants backed by large language models, including a CLI and SDK for creating custom integrations and bots.

Botpress

Botpress is a platform for building chatbots and assistants powered by large language models. This repository holds the parts of Botpress that are open source: the public integrations available on the Botpress Hub, developer tools including a CLI, an SDK and an API client, example bots built entirely as code with the SDK and CLI, and Botpress Studio plugins.

Developers create a new integration by installing the Botpress CLI and running an init command, which scaffolds an integration from a template; the definition and implementation then live in separate files that can be edited directly. A deploy command pushes the integration's current version to the developer's workspace, updating it if it already exists there, so it becomes available to any bot in that workspace.

Botpress Cloud hosts the platform itself; support for the separate on-premise Botpress v12 line is handled in its own repository.
