Burp Suite MCP Server Extension

An official Burp Suite extension that exposes Burp's capabilities to AI clients over the Model Context Protocol, so an MCP-aware assistant can drive Burp Suite directly.

Burp Suite MCP Server Extension

The Burp Suite MCP Server Extension integrates Burp Suite with AI clients using the Model Context Protocol. Once loaded into Burp Suite, it runs an MCP server that an AI client can connect to, either directly over SSE or through a packaged stdio MCP proxy, and installs itself automatically for Claude Desktop.

It is built with Gradle from source into a JAR file, then loaded into Burp Suite as a Java extension from the Extensions tab. Configuration, including enabling the server and choosing its port and host, is done from an MCP tab added to the Burp Suite interface, and a separate option controls whether the exposed tools are allowed to edit Burp's own configuration files.

It is written in Kotlin and released under the GPL-3.0 license.
