Butterbase

An open-source, AI-native backend-as-a-service combining a Postgres data plane, auth, storage, serverless functions, an AI/LLM gateway and a built-in MCP server so agents can operate the backend with tools instead of glue code.

Butterbase

Butterbase is an open-source backend-as-a-service aimed at AI-driven applications, built around a Postgres data plane with row-level security, automatic REST endpoints and migrations. It adds a key-value store with TTL and audit trail, S3/R2-backed file storage with presigned URLs, TypeScript serverless functions on the Deno runtime, stateful per-key durable objects for things like chat rooms or rate limiters, WebSocket realtime subscriptions, and edge server-side rendering and static hosting for frameworks such as Next.js, Remix or Astro.

Its AI-specific features include a single gateway endpoint for chat and embeddings across model providers, managed retrieval-augmented generation with document ingestion and semantic search, third-party tool access through Composio, and a built-in Model Context Protocol server that exposes the platform's capabilities as tools an agent can call directly instead of writing custom integration code. Identity features cover email and OAuth sign-in, JWT configuration, post-login hooks, structured audit logs and outbound webhooks.

It is written in TypeScript and licensed under Apache-2.0.

  • Light Cloud

    light-cloud.com

A hosting platform that deploys a static site, a container, or a managed Postgres database straight from a GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket push, with a preview URL for every branch and an MCP server for deploying from Claude Code.

  • ForensicDbg

    forensicdbg.com

A post-mortem debugger for native Windows x86 and x64 crashes, with an MCP interface so AI tools can consume crash-dump analysis directly.

  • Karada.ai

    karada.ai

A CI/CD platform that auto-compiles existing APIs into Go MCP servers, attaches composable middleware, and exposes them through one gateway usable from Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf.
