Calculator MCP Server

A minimal Model Context Protocol server that gives an LLM a single tool for evaluating a mathematical expression precisely, instead of relying on the model's own arithmetic.

Calculator MCP Server

Calculator MCP Server exposes one tool, calculate, which takes an expression string and returns its evaluated numeric result, so an LLM client can offload arithmetic it would otherwise get wrong.

It installs with uv, run directly through uvx with no separate installation step, or with pip and run as a Python module; either way, it is added to an MCP client's configuration as a command the client launches itself.

It is written in Python and licensed under the MIT License.
