Callimachus

A local, searchable index of a developer's AI coding-agent history across eleven tools including Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, with hybrid keyword and semantic search, an MCP server and a CLI.

Callimachus

Callimachus indexes every conversation from eleven AI coding-agent tools, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Cline, into one local SQLite store, so past sessions can be searched without leaving the machine. Search combines keyword matching with on-device semantic similarity through reciprocal rank fusion, filterable by source, project, subagent or tag, and a file-mention index finds every thread that touched a given path.

An opt-in distillation pass extracts decisions, gotchas and summaries using a local Ollama model or a logged-in Claude Code or Codex subscription, and a project view aggregates a repository's distilled facts into a managed memory file that can be injected into a project's agent instructions, or fed to a Claude Code session-start hook. It ships as signed builds for macOS, Windows and Linux, plus a VS Code extension, and is AGPL-3.0 licensed.
