camelAI
An AI coding assistant platform built on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects, giving teams persistent coding workspaces with connected data, deployable applications, and organization-level administration.
camelAI gives teams persistent AI coding workspaces backed by Cloudflare. Each chat thread runs its own coding agent inside a Durable Object, and users can connect external services and data, build applications, and publish them to managed app hosts. The platform includes persistent chat threads and project files, workspace-aware coding agent tools, integrations for APIs, databases, email, Slack, and Discord, isolated application builds, notebook analysis, SQL execution, previews and production publishing, and organization, authentication, billing, and administrative controls.
The agent is camelAI's own harness, built from a lower-level agent loop and state-management library rather than Claude Code or Codex; Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Bedrock, or a custom endpoint can supply the underlying model, but not the harness itself. It uses native file tools and writes JavaScript instead of shell commands, running that code in fresh isolated environments with explicit platform and connection methods, keeping credentials outside the execution sandbox.
It requires a recent Node.js runtime, Bun, a Cloudflare account, and Docker for sandbox-backed features, and is written in TypeScript under the MIT license.
