CC Gateway

A reverse proxy for Claude Code that normalizes device fingerprints, telemetry, and identity metadata sent to the Anthropic API so multiple machines look like one canonical client.

CC Gateway

CC Gateway is a reverse proxy that sits between Claude Code and the Anthropic API. It rewrites the device ID, environment fingerprint, and other telemetry fields that Claude Code attaches to every request, replacing them with a single canonical identity so the operator controls what leaves the network.

It replaces more than 40 environment dimensions such as platform, architecture, Node.js version, and CI flags, sanitizes the system prompt block that describes the local machine, and strips the billing header that carries a per-session fingerprint, consistent with Claude Code's own attribution-header setting. It also normalizes reported memory and process metrics so hardware differences are not visible, and manages OAuth token refresh centrally so client machines never contact the vendor directly.

It is written in TypeScript and licensed under the MIT license, and the project describes itself as an early, actively developed alpha.
