CC GUI (Claude, Codex and More)

An IntelliJ IDEA plugin that provides a visual chat and agent interface for Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and several other terminal-based AI coding CLIs.

CC GUI (Claude, Codex and More)

CC GUI, originally named Claude Code GUI before being renamed to reduce trademark risk, embeds a chat panel in IntelliJ IDEA for driving Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and beta support for Grok CLI, Kimi CLI, OpenCode, PI CLI, OMP CLI, and DeepSeek Harness. Its conversation view supports @file references for precise context, sending images to describe a requirement visually, and rewinding a conversation to an earlier point.

It includes a built-in agent system for automated multi-step tasks, slash commands such as /init and /review, and MCP server support to extend what the agent can do, alongside a code diff comparison view, file navigation, and permission controls over what the agent is allowed to do. A security review of the project is run before every minor release, and a fuller audit every ten minor releases.

It is written in Java and distributed under the MIT license.
