chatmcp

A cross-platform AI chat client for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and the web that connects to Model Context Protocol servers, with local-network data sync between devices.

chatmcp

ChatMCP is a chat client that implements the Model Context Protocol, letting it connect to MCP servers as tool sources alongside whichever chat model it is configured to use. It runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and as a web app that keeps chat history in local browser storage.

Data, such as chat history, can sync between the app's installations over the local area network rather than through a cloud account, and MCP servers are launched locally through uvx or npx, which need to be installed on the host system.

It is written in Dart and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
