ChromaDB C++

A C++ client library for interacting with the ChromaDB vector database, covering collection management, embedding management and similarity queries.

ChromaDB C++

ChromaDB C++ is a client library that lets a C++ application manage ChromaDB collections and embeddings and run similarity queries against them, supporting creating, retrieving, updating and deleting collections, adding, getting, updating, upserting and deleting embeddings, and searching a collection by document text or by embedding vector directly.

It supports ChromaDB server version 1.x and above, and requires a running ChromaDB server, either local or in the cloud, which the project's documentation shows how to start with Docker Compose. Building the client library itself requires CMake 3.10 or newer, a C++20 compiler and OpenSSL development libraries, and its Git submodules must be initialized before building on either Linux or Windows.
