Claude Code

Anthropic's agentic coding tool for the terminal, which works on your codebase through natural language: running routine tasks, explaining code and handling git workflows.

Claude Code

Claude Code is an AI coding tool from Anthropic that runs in your terminal and understands your codebase. You give it natural-language commands to run routine tasks, explain complex code and handle git workflows. It can also be used from an IDE or by tagging @claude on GitHub.

It installs with a script on macOS and Linux, Homebrew, PowerShell or WinGet, and runs in a project directory with the claude command. The repository includes plugins that add custom commands and agents.

Bugs are reported with the /bug command. The README describes what usage data is collected and how it is handled.
