Claude Code Router

A local gateway that gives coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and others one stable endpoint, while letting a developer manage providers, models, routing rules and fallbacks from a single place.

Claude Code Router

Claude Code Router runs a local server, by default on port 3456, that agent clients such as Claude Code, Codex, Grok CLI, Kimi CLI, Kilo Code, OpenCode and Pi connect to instead of talking to a model provider directly. Behind that one endpoint, a user configures providers, accounts, models and routing rules, so switching providers or models does not require editing every agent's own configuration.

It keeps requests running through retries, credential pools, key rotation and ordered fallback models, adds capabilities to existing models such as vision, web search and MCP tools, and shows request logs with resolved routes, latency, token usage, cost estimates and account status. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, SiliconFlow, Moonshot, Mistral, Z.AI, Bailian and other compatible providers.

It ships as a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, plus a Node.js-based CLI, and is written in TypeScript under the MIT license.
