Claude-Mem

A persistent memory system for AI coding agents that captures what an agent does during a session, compresses it into semantic summaries, and injects relevant context back into future sessions.

Claude-Mem

Claude-Mem is a memory compression system built for Claude Code and other coding agents. It automatically captures tool-usage observations during a session, generates semantic summaries with AI, and makes that context available again in later sessions, so an agent can maintain continuity about a project across restarts or reconnects.

It installs with a single command for Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex, Gemini, Hermes, Copilot, OpenCode and other agents, or from the Claude Code plugin marketplace. After installing, a memory key is provisioned through sign-in, and memory can then run on a hosted observer service, a user's own OpenRouter or Gemini key, or the user's existing Anthropic plan.

It is written in TypeScript and Apache-2.0 licensed.
