ClaudeBox

A containerized, reproducible Docker development environment for running Claude Code with pre-configured language profiles, per-project isolation, and MCP servers.

ClaudeBox

ClaudeBox runs Claude Code inside an isolated Docker container with pre-configured development profiles for languages such as C/C++, Python, Rust, and Go, plus bundled MCP servers. Each project gets its own Docker image, authentication state, shell history, and configuration, so multiple projects can be worked on at once without interfering with each other, and settings persist between sessions.

It automatically installs and configures Docker if it is missing, resolves dependencies between profiles (for example, the C profile pulling in build tools), and adds network isolation with project-specific firewall allowlists that can be viewed and edited with an allowlist command. Its shell environment includes GitHub CLI, Delta, fzf, a powerline zsh setup with oh-my-zsh, per-project Python virtual environments managed with uv, and tmux socket mounting for multi-pane workflows.

It runs on Linux and macOS (WSL2 for Windows), installs through a self-extracting installer, and is released under the MIT license.
