CLI Agent Orchestrator (CAO)

A tool that coordinates several AI coding CLIs, such as Claude Code, Codex, and Kiro, in isolated tmux sessions so a supervisor agent can delegate work to specialist agents in parallel or in sequence.

CLI Agent Orchestrator (CAO)

CLI Agent Orchestrator (CAO) runs a local server that starts provider coding-agent CLIs in isolated terminal sessions and gives a supervisor agent tools for coordinating those workers. The worker agents remain full CLI processes with their own native authentication and capabilities rather than being wrapped or reimplemented.

Supported provider CLIs include Kiro CLI, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Antigravity CLI, Hermes, Kimi CLI, MiniMax Code, GitHub Copilot CLI, OpenCode CLI, Oh My Pi CLI, Cursor CLI, and Grok Build CLI, each authenticated separately before launch. A built-in supervisor profile is installed, then a local server and a supervisor session are started from the target project directory.

The supervisor can be observed and controlled from its launch terminal, from a web UI on a local port, or by attaching to its tmux session directly. It is written in Python and requires tmux and uv.
