CLI Agentic Coding Tools

A curated, terminal-first comparison table of command-line coding agents similar to Claude Code, listing each tool's supported model back-ends, license and implementation language.

CLI Agentic Coding Tools

The list covers terminal-only or terminal-first coding agents including Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Goose CLI, two separate projects both named OpenCode, crush, Plandex, Aider, Codex-CLI, GitHub Copilot's CLI, Kimi CLI, Qwen Code, Neovate, Grok Code CLI and Pi. For each entry it records which model providers the tool can call, whether the project is open source and under which license, and what language it is written in.

The list is a single reference table rather than a tool itself, intended to help a developer compare command-line coding agents at a glance before choosing one to install.
