CLI Printing Press

A tool that reads an API's documentation and existing community CLIs and MCP servers, then generates a token-efficient Go command-line tool, a matching Claude Code skill, and an MCP server for that API or website.

CLI Printing Press

CLI Printing Press builds command-line tools designed for AI agents to use efficiently. For a given API or website, it studies the official documentation, existing community CLIs and MCP servers, and public but unofficial endpoints, then produces a Go CLI along with a Claude Code skill and an MCP server for it, using local SQLite caching and compound commands to answer queries in one call instead of many.

The project publishes a catalog of CLIs it has already generated, such as ones for sports scores, combined flight search across services, and a local mirror of a project-tracker workspace. Both the compiled binary and the accompanying skills are needed to use a generated CLI: the binary handles research, generation and scoring, while the skills drive it as the primary interface.
