ClojureMCP
An MCP server that connects an LLM client such as Claude Code or Claude Desktop to a Clojure project's REPL, adding tools for parenthesis-aware evaluation and editing that handle Clojure's formatting reliably.
ClojureMCP is an MCP server that connects an LLM client to a Clojure project's REPL. It provides REPL-integration tools and Clojure-aware editing tools designed to handle parentheses and formatting reliably, using parinfer, cljfmt and clj-rewrite rather than plain text edits.
For a desktop chat application such as Claude Desktop, it supplies a complete set of Clojure-aware code-assistance tools; for a command-line assistant that already has strong file-editing and shell tools, such as Claude Code or Codex, it is meant to fill the Clojure-specific gaps, mainly REPL integration and an editing fallback, and a lighter clojure-mcp-light variant is recommended as the starting point for that case. Its REPL connection repairs delimiters before evaluating code sent to it.
It installs globally through the Clojure tools installer, requires Clojure and a JDK, and is licensed under the Eclipse Public License 2.0.
