Code Assistant Manager (CAM)

A unified Go command-line tool that manages configuration, instructions, skills, plugins, MCP servers and launch settings for seventeen AI coding assistants from one terminal interface.

Code Assistant Manager (CAM)

CAM centralizes the setup of many separate AI coding assistants that would otherwise each need their own configuration files and launch commands, including Claude, Codex, Gemini, Qwen, Copilot, Blackbox, Goose and Continue. Its interactive menu lets a developer pick an assistant and launch it, and a doctor command checks that API keys and setup are in order before launching.

The project has grown a Tauri desktop shell backed by the same Go sidecar API that powers the terminal CLI, so the terminal and desktop interfaces share identical provider and launch behaviour. A separate browser-only frontend mode serves the same React interface with mock or manually configured backend data, for cases where only the UI is needed.
