Code-Box

A one-line-install, container-based sandbox for running coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode in isolation, with shared authentication, a controllable built-in browser, and a menu for launching each tool in its auto-approve mode.

Code-Box

Code-Box is a sandbox meant to contain the side effects of AI coding agents, such as deleted files, dependency conflicts, taken ports or browser automation interfering with a normal setup, by running them in container-level isolation while sharing authentication where needed. It installs with a single curl script that adds the code-box command to the PATH, pulls the latest Docker image, and checks for updates every 24 hours.

It ships Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, oh-my-opencode and a plain bash shell preinstalled, with a menu or direct commands to launch any of them; each tool launches by default in its permission-skipping mode, such as Claude Code's dangerously-skip-permissions flag or Codex's full-auto flag. A built-in browser inside the sandbox can be controlled from the local machine, and it tracks the latest versions of these coding tools.

Built with Shell scripting around Docker; free and open source, MIT licensed; available in English and Simplified Chinese.
