CodeAlta

A pre-release .NET terminal workspace for agentic coding that manages model-provider setup, project navigation, prompt attachments, and durable sessions, working across Codex, Copilot, Grok, OpenAI, Anthropic, and other providers behind one keyboard-first interface.

CodeAlta

CodeAlta is a terminal UI for agentic coding built as a .NET global tool. It centralizes provider setup for Codex, Copilot, xAI Grok, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Alibaba, Anthropic, Gemini, Vertex, or custom endpoints behind one consistent workflow, and keeps tabs, a prompt editor, a project sidebar, command discovery, model selectors, context status, and an inspectable timeline of past turns in one workspace.

Project-scoped sessions persist in CodeAlta-owned journals independent of provider startup, so a session can be reopened, prompts can be queued while a session is busy, running work can be steered, and long conversations can be compacted. Reusable agent prompt profiles can be edited or replaced per project or globally, files and folders can be attached, and GitHub issues can be searched when working in a GitHub repository.

It installs as a .NET global tool and requires a current Nerd Fonts-patched terminal font for its icons and tree glyphs to render correctly; configuration and extension APIs may still change before a stable release.
