CodeCompanion.nvim

CodeCompanion.nvim brings LLM chat and agent workflows into Neovim, supporting providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, GitHub Copilot, DeepSeek, Mistral, Ollama, OpenRouter, and HuggingFace out of the box, or a custom adapter. It supports the Agent Client Protocol so agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Copilot CLI can run inside the editor, and the Model Context Protocol for external tools.

Features include inline code transformations and refactoring, a prompt library for tasks such as explaining LSP errors, custom prompts and slash commands, multiple concurrent chats, image and PDF input, and code review that lets a user comment on and approve or reject agent-written code. It reads project rule files such as CLAUDE.md and .cursor/rules.

It is written in Lua and distributed under the Apache-2.0 license.
