Codex Slides

An open-source AI slide studio that runs inside the Codex CLI, turning a prompt, a repository or a folder of files into an image-native presentation deck through a visible research, outline, style, render and export pipeline.

Codex Slides

Codex Slides is an open-source slide studio built for coding agents, living inside Codex rather than as a separate app: a user points it at a repository or a folder of files, describes a deck, and watches Codex research, outline, style, render and export a presentation with every slide as a full visual canvas rather than a hidden background task. It runs on an existing codex login with no extra API keys, keeping every project on the user's own disk.

It ships 45 curated deck templates across 15 categories and 73 community styles across 12 groups, plus 24 guided scenarios covering zero-to-one decks, source-to-slides, data stories, deep research, redesign, localization, training and keynotes. A fast mode renders every page in parallel rather than one by one, producing a 10-or-more-slide deck in about four to five minutes, and exports production-ready PPTX and print-ready PDF with speaker notes preserved at up to 4K render quality across five aspect ratios.

It installs as a Codex plugin with codex plugin marketplace add and codex plugin add.
