CodexPotter

A tool that drives the Codex CLI in a continuous review-and-reconcile loop toward a stated goal, running each round in a clean context so earlier attempts do not pollute later ones.

CodexPotter

CodexPotter continuously drives Codex toward an instructed goal or target state, following what it calls the Ralph Wiggum pattern of repeatedly reviewing and reconciling a codebase against an instruction across multiple rounds until it is fully aligned. Each round runs in a clean context to avoid earlier failed attempts poisoning later ones, and it relies only on an existing Codex subscription rather than a separate model or business-specific prompts layered on top of Codex itself.

A typical workflow queues two tasks: one that researches and writes a plan to a file, such as a design document, without implementing it, and a second that implements according to that file and verifies the result with end-to-end tests. Writing the plan to a file lets it be iterated across multiple rounds and picked up by the implementation task. It integrates with an existing AGENTS.md file, skills, and MCP servers, supports resuming, and can share sessions with the Codex CLI for follow-up prompts.

It is written in JavaScript under the Apache-2.0 license.

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
