Coding Agent Template

Coding Agent Template is a template for building AI-powered coding agents that supports Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, Cursor CLI, Google Gemini CLI and opencode, using Vercel Sandbox to automatically execute coding tasks on a user's repositories. Deploying it with one click sets up a Neon Postgres database automatically, prompts for required environment variables such as Vercel credentials and encryption keys, and then needs at least one OAuth provider, GitHub or Vercel, configured for user sign-in.

Each signed-in user gets their own tasks, API keys and GitHub connection; tasks run in isolated Vercel Sandbox containers, with AI Gateway integration for model routing and observability, AI-generated Git branch names, real-time task progress tracking, and automatic branch creation and commits. The interface is built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and Claude Code sessions can additionally connect MCP servers for extended capabilities.

Tasks and their state persist in a Postgres database.
