Colab-mcp

Colab-mcp is a Model Context Protocol server for bridging a local AI agent to a Google Colab session running in the browser. It requires a client that both supports the notifications/tools/list_changed MCP notification and runs locally on the same device, which includes Gemini CLI, Claude Code and Windsurf.

It is installed with uv and configured in an MCP client's server list by running it through uvx directly from its Git repository. The project uses GitHub Discussions rather than the issue tracker for feature requests and questions, so that discussions can mature into well-understood, deduplicated issues, and it is not currently accepting external code contributions.
