copilot-plugins is GitHub's official collection of plugins for GitHub Copilot, extending it with MCP servers, skills, hooks, and other extensibility tools in one place. Skills provide reusable prompts and workflows for common tasks, hooks add custom event-driven integrations, and MCP servers are planned to give Copilot new capabilities.
The marketplace also references plugins hosted in other repositories, including Advanced Security for dependency and secret scanning, an Azure DevOps plugin for work items, repositories, and pull requests, skills for Microsoft Fabric covering its Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Power BI services, a C++ language server, and Power Platform skills for Power Pages, model-driven and canvas apps, code apps, and Power Automate flows.
