CoStrict

A free, open-source AI coding assistant for enterprises, with a strict mode for standardized, requirements-driven code generation, repository-wide AI code review, and private, self-hosted deployment.

CoStrict

CoStrict is a free, open-source AI coding assistant aimed at enterprise development, distributed as a VS Code extension, a CLI tool, a JetBrains plugin and a cloud service, with support for private deployment. Its Strict Mode standardizes AI-generated code through requirements analysis, architecture design, task planning and test generation, while a separate Vibe Code mode supports rapid development through natural-language dialogue.

Its code-review feature indexes a repository for retrieval-augmented analysis and checks results with multiple models for verification, and it connects to APIs, databases and custom tools through MCP. It supports many programming languages, built-in free models alongside Anthropic, OpenAI and other OpenAI-compatible or local models, image and other visual inputs, and multiple customizable modes, with enterprise features such as physical isolation and end-to-end encryption for private deployments.
