Craft Agents

An open-source, document-centric desktop app for working with AI agents, built on the Claude Agent SDK and the Pi SDK, that connects to APIs, MCP servers and existing Claude Code skills.

Craft Agents

Craft Agents is a tool built by craft.do for working effectively with AI agents, enabling intuitive multitasking, connection to any API or service without heavy configuration, session sharing, and a document-centric rather than code-centric workflow in a customizable UI. It uses the Claude Agent SDK and the Pi SDK side by side, building on what the team found useful in each while improving areas they wanted to change, and is open source under the Apache 2.0 license.

Telling the agent to add a source such as Linear, Gmail or Slack makes it find the relevant public API or MCP server, read its documentation, and set up credentials and configuration without config files or setup wizards; an existing MCP configuration JSON can also just be pasted in. Local, stdio-based MCP servers run as subprocesses pointed at an npx command, a Python script or any local binary, and custom APIs are set up by pasting an OpenAPI spec, endpoint URLs or screenshots of documentation.

Existing Claude Code skills and MCP configurations can be imported directly into Craft Agents, and a new skill can be created simply by describing what it should do.
