CrateDB

A distributed SQL database, compatible with PostgreSQL and built on Lucene, for storing and analyzing large amounts of data in near real time, including time series and IoT data.

CrateDB

CrateDB is a distributed SQL database that combines the query interface of an SQL database with the horizontal scalability and flexibility usually associated with NoSQL systems. It can ingest tens of thousands of records per second across a cluster and run ad-hoc queries with standard SQL, over the PostgreSQL wire protocol or an HTTP API.

It supports dynamic table schemas and queryable objects for document-oriented data alongside relational features, time-series data, real-time full-text search, and geospatial data types. Clusters are horizontally scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant, and are designed to run well in containerized and virtualized environments such as Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.

It is written in Java and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
