Crew44

A free, local-first desktop app that turns AI coding agents you already run — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and others — into a coordinated crew of specialists that hand work off to each other on one machine.

Crew44

Crew44 assembles specialist roles, such as planner, builder and reviewer, and binds each to whichever installed coding agent suits its job, letting them hand work to each other inside one shared workspace instead of one generalist agent re-explaining context every session. Everything runs locally: state is stored as plain files under ~/.crew44/, with no cloud account, subscription or telemetry beyond whatever the underlying coding agent itself contacts.

It ships as a signed desktop build for macOS, Windows and Linux, and detects and routes to runtimes including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent, Gemini CLI, Hermes, Kimi, OpenCode, OpenClaw, Pi and Qoder. Skills are captured once as a SKILL.md file and shared across every attached agent and provider, and the runtime layer is an extensible Go interface for adding further backends.

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
