CSSwitch
A macOS menu-bar app that routes the Claude Science desktop client to a third-party model API, such as DeepSeek, Qwen, GLM, Kimi, MiniMax or any OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible endpoint, and can switch back to the official Claude account at any time.
CSSwitch connects to a built-in provider, a proxy relay, or a custom OpenAI Chat, OpenAI Responses or Anthropic Messages-compatible endpoint, mapping models strictly to what a person configures rather than silently falling back to a different one when a model name is unrecognized. Separate model slots can be set for quality, balanced, fast and a Fable tier, or a single model can be used for everything.
An experimental feature lets it log into Codex through its own independent browser authorization, without reading or modifying the native ~/.codex login, and surface the resulting dynamic model catalog inside Claude Science's model selector. It can also show which Skills exist in the current Claude Science organization, import a local Skill package, or have the agent install one from a public GitHub URL.
It requires an Apple Silicon Mac with Claude Science already installed, and a third-party API key or a Codex account; its public build is ad hoc signed rather than notarized through Apple's Developer ID and Gatekeeper.
