D2 Coding

A monospaced coding typeface based on Nanum Barun Gothic, tuned for legibility and to keep similar-looking Latin, Hangul and punctuation characters distinguishable while writing code.

D2 Coding

D2 Coding is a monospaced typeface designed for writing code, built on Nanum Barun Gothic and reworked so that easily confused characters, whether Latin letters, digits, Hangul or punctuation, stay distinguishable at a glance. Hinting is tuned to keep the design crisp between 8 and 18pt, and consistent spacing keeps code aligned in any development environment.

It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and installs either by double-clicking a downloaded TTF or through one-line install scripts for the terminal. A live specimen site lets a developer try the font in an editable playground, see its full ligature list, check coverage against the real character map, and use a size ladder from 8px to 24px to diagnose rendering problems before reporting them.

The editor or terminal needs restarting after install for the new font to appear.
