DataHub MCP Server

An MCP server that lets AI agents search DataHub's data catalog, explore lineage and business context, and generate SQL grounded in an organization's real tables, dashboards and documentation.

DataHub MCP Server

This is a Model Context Protocol server for DataHub, an open-source data context platform that unifies discovery, governance and observability across an organization's tables, columns, dashboards, pipelines, documents and ML models. The server exposes that catalog to AI agents.

Through it, an agent can search across the data landscape in natural language, explore lineage at the asset and column level to plan for changes, navigate business glossaries and domains, and generate SQL queries grounded in documentation, lineage and popular past queries. Structured search supports wildcard matching, tag-based field search and boolean queries.
